Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what we offer

BJJ Square (the "Service") is operated by Alessio Cerizzi, VAT number 03069620965, registered at Via Giuseppe Verdi 9, 20851 Lissone (MB), Italy. The Service lets you find BJJ and grappling gyms, check schedules and events, create an athlete profile and — for gyms — manage a public listing.

2. Acceptance

By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. You must be at least 14 to register; younger athletes must have the account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

• You must provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account.
• One account per person. You may not transfer or sell it.
• You can delete your account at any time.

4. Content you publish

It stays yours. By publishing it on BJJ Square you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable licence to display it within the Service for as long as you choose to keep it published. You confirm you hold the rights to what you upload — photographs in particular — and that you are not infringing third-party rights.

You may not publish content that:

• is false or misleading, including untruthful belts, degrees or competition results;
• infringes copyright, trade marks or other people's image rights;
• is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or harassing;
• contains third parties' personal data without their consent;
• is irrelevant advertising or otherwise unlawful.

5. Gym listings and verification

A gym listing can be claimed by whoever runs it. By claiming it you declare you are entitled to represent that gym. The primary owner can appoint co-owners and transfer their role.

Belt and competition-result verifications are carried out by gym coaches or by admins: they are a community confirmation, not an official federation certification. We do not award ranks or sporting titles.

6. Moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms, normally after a report. For serious or repeated breaches we may act without notice. If you believe content infringes your rights, write to info@droppromotion.com.

7. Free service and availability

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features in the future we will tell you beforehand, and free features you already have will not become paid without notice. The Service is provided "as is": we work to keep it running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free availability, especially during the testing phase.

8. Limitation of liability

Information about gyms, schedules and events is entered by users and by the gyms themselves: we do not guarantee its accuracy and we encourage you to check with the gym directly before showing up for a session. We are not a party to the relationship between you and a gym and we are not liable for what happens during training or events.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect damages. Mandatory consumer protections under Italian and EU law remain unaffected.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For significant changes we will notify you by email or on the site with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction; otherwise the courts of Monza.
