BJJ Square in your AI assistant
BJJ Square has a public MCP server. AI assistants that support MCP connectors can search BJJ and grappling gyms and upcoming competitions straight from our data, with a link to the right page of the site. It is free, needs no account and is read-only.
Server address
https://bjjsquare.com/mcpWhat it can do
find_gyms— Find gyms by city, by country or near a point (up to 25 per search).get_gym— Read a gym's details: address, website, affiliation, what it offers, the class schedule when published and when it was last updated.list_places— List the countries and cities covered, with the number of gyms.find_competitions— Find upcoming competitions by country and date range (up to 10 per search), with the organizer link for registration.
How to connect it
In apps that support remote MCP connectors, add a custom connector and paste the address above. No key is needed.

}Example questions
- Where can I train BJJ in Lisbon next week?
- Which grappling competitions are there in Italy in the next two months?
- What is this gym's class schedule, and does it welcome visitors?
Limits, stated plainly
- At most 25 gyms and 10 competitions per request, with no further pages: narrow the area for more precise results.
- At most 30 requests per minute per IP address.
- Gym phone numbers and emails are not returned by the server: they are on the gym page, reachable from the link.
- Only known information is returned. A missing field means we don't know, not that the gym doesn't offer it.
No personal data goes through the server: no athletes, instructors or belts. Competitions come from the public calendars of federations and registration platforms: always confirm dates and details on the organizer's site. The answers are written by the assistant you use, starting from this data.
