Public registry

Verified belts

The instructor confirms the belt. Not a form.

43 people in 3 countries. Only people whose belt was confirmed by the instructor who awarded it.

No editorial team, no community vote: the instructor confirms, and the instructor is linked to a claimed academy. It is a short list by design, and it only grows when someone confirms.

How you get in

Three conditions, all at once. The system checks them, not a person.

The instructor confirms the belt

The athlete records the promotion and names who awarded it. That person receives the request and confirms. Nobody can confirm their own.

The instructor teaches at a claimed academy

Whoever confirms is an owner or instructor of an academy page claimed by its owner. That is what makes the confirmation verifiable: behind it there is a real academy, with a name and an address.

Adult belts only, one row per person

Blue and above. Kids' belts stay out of any public list of people. Each person appears once, at the highest confirmed rank.

Verified means one thing only: the named instructor confirmed. We do not judge the school, the lineage or the quality of teaching. A real belt that nobody has confirmed here yet is not in the registry, and that is no judgement on who wears it.

Rows with the document symbol are a declared exception: the coach has no profile and never will, and an administrator reviewed a proof (diploma, certificate, public source). It reads “attested by BJJ Square”, never “confirmed by the coach”. The lineage chain stops there.

How to get in, step by step

Want to be in it?

Record your promotion and name your instructor. If your academy is not claimed yet, now is the time to tell them.
